Yeah, it inspired me a lot, but I also tried to incorporate the bulkness of French predreadnoughts, like the Brennus or the bizarre Hoche :D

I like all the warships produced between 1850-1950, as well as the old sailing ships. Each group has very beautiful vessels, even if they are (objectively) ugly as hell :D

Holy mackeral! That's pretty damn good, if you ask me! How long did this take, anyway? I think it's rather nifty how you have traditional masts on that body. ((Would give better critique but knows shit about militaristic aircraft ^^;))

Nice avvie, by the way. Michael ftw XD

I don't know... it took about 2 hours during various classes? And these are not 'traditional' masts, they only look like that - they carry wire aerials and it's entirely historically correct (I based on freaky battleships of 1880-1905 period ;) )

Freaky Battleships:

Are/were 10 times less powerful than modern warships, but 100 times more elegant.

Also, it sounds like the name of a rock band.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, THE FREAKY BATTLESHPS!"

Thanks, you've made my day!

Damn, you have skills. Such a thing would take me days rather than hours. And the masts still look cool XD It sort of reminds me of the airships in the Hayao Miyazaki movies, like "Howl's Moving Castle" or "Castle in the Sky."

It looks like your style has improved considerably! The lines are more polished, and the perspective is correct.

I think it would have been served better with more anti-aircraft guns, especially on the ventral aspect. May be armoured, but it looks a little bit too naked for me. Anyone attacking from below wouldn't find it very hard to strike.

The commissioner didn't want to install neither too many guns, nor the ventral guns. Thanks for the comment :)
