Description
September 19th 1944, near the Dutch city of Eindhoven. The Americans advance on German positions to aid the paratroopers fighting to the north. Herein, a M4A3E8 "Easy Eight" Sherman tank of the U.S. VIII. Corps moves and covers the infantry. They participate in "Garden", a supplementary operation to the airborne "Market". They both created the famous operation "Market-Garden".

Hey, this was very nice to draw, apart from the tank's hull - I had to erase it 4 times, because it was constantly too dark! But the fifth time I managed to do it properly. I wasn't counting, how many hours did it take, but it was about 3 hours for the sketch, 3 for shading the tank and 4 approx. for the soldiers and bground. Total - 10 hours. The foreground guy's helmet took about 30 minutes
B pencil for the sketch and 4B for shading. Enjoy!
