Wehrmacht 1965 by JanBoruta Wehrmacht 1965 by JanBoruta
Quite a supplement to my old drawing: [link] I thought it would be neat to expand the idea, so I present you a German soldier shown in the drawing. Nothing special :P

His armament consists of Sturmgewehr 63, a German resposne to Soviet AK-47 introduced 16 years before. The three grenades are (from left to right): smoke grenade M1955, traditional stick grenade model 24, flashbang grenade Mk.61.

2B mechanical pencil.

Enjoy.
Tom :D

Great Design, but you know that the russian AK-47 is based on the german STG44 so that it probably won't even exist if the 3rd Reich hadn't lost the war? And I think this is implied by "wehrmacht" existing in 1965. If I've misunderstood : sorry, I just wanted to help

In my timeline the AK47 was introduced nonetheless. Think about the spoils of war - Stg44's scavenged from the battlefields of Ukraine. ;)

The same goes for the appearance of New York (invaded by Germans, for teh lulz) in one of my older drawings - WTC is present, despite a different timeline.

That's indeed a very interesting concept. There's a lot of fiction based on an alternate outcome of the war, and I think you did a good job with designing the uniform and the weapons here! The details and the shading are great as well, good stuff indeed! :D

Very interesting.....i have written these sci-fi stories in which there's this world populated by cats who speak German. Their army has Wehrmacht pattern uniforms too. And the year? 2008. =D

No zajebioza...

Chciałem utrafić w bardziej pierwszowojenne klimaty, takie "pruskie", choć to wciąż druga wojna . Stąd długi płaszcz i maska gazowa.

Chociaż z drugiej strony to by frajersko wyglądało :D

A klonowanie...
